DetermiNation Launch Party

The American Cancer Society is an organization that we have committed to being a part of this year. Supporting this cause is an issue dear to our my hearts as Jessica lost her father to cancer 3 years ago. Jessica has committed to join this prestigious group as a charity runner for the PF Chang's Half Marathon on January 17, 2010 in honor of her father, Cruz T. Martinez. Please follow our postings as we will have future charity events (a wine tasting & auction) to raise money for our group.

Our Launch Party is a social mixer to meet fellow runners, receive information on our group, and sign up to be a part of our running team for the PF Chang's Rock'N'Roll Marathon and 1/2 Marathon on January 17, 2010 in Phoenix.

The DetermiNation Launch Party will be held on:

• Wednesday, August 26th 2009 @ The Village Health & Racquet Club (4444 East Camelback Road, Phoenix, Arizona)
• The Launch Party starts at 6pm

Tour of The Manor at Catlin Court

We had the opportunity to tour one of historic Glendale's newest venues for weddings, receptions and social events: The Manor at Catlin Court. This charming event site is nestled in a quaint neighborhood of downtown Glendale amongst darling Craftsman style bungalows and a shady tree-lined street. Built in 1917 and originally used as a church, Catlin Court has undergone extensive renovations to transform it into an enchanting venue for special events and weddings. The owners added just the right touches as to not erase the historic charm of the building. We loved the outside garden---ideal for an outdoor wedding ceremony. We could very well imagine a bride and groom arriving to the manor by a horse-drawn carriage and greeting their guests in front of the picturesque garden gazebo...all those hopeless romantics out there need to check out Catlin Court!
